It was lots of fun. Grandma put together a little egg hunt for the boys. They each had a basket and went around picking up the eggs and putting them in the basket. We kept sneaking them back out of the baskets and dropping them in the grass. We didn't stay outside too long because it was raining pretty good.

That's the sour puss I know. My ham turned into a grump. Greg's favorite thing to do now is to act pursecuted. He recovered quickly. This Easter Egg Hunt was too much fun to keep up a grumpy act.

Auntie Chloe helped the boys with the egg hunt. Notice how noisy the rain is on the umbrella.
Auntie Jane made the boys special Easter Deserts. She toasted coconut shavings and everything.
My friend Omar made us Cascarones. He's been saving his eggs all year long. Then he filled them with confetti and closed them up. We had a blast breaking them over each other's heads. It's for good luck or something but it sure makes a fun tradition. That is the mess all over the floor.
Aunt Jane the photo journalist captured Billy's 1st Easter. I've been telling everyone how cute he is and she did a great job gathering proof. Thanks Jane!

Sometimes I forget just how small Billy still is.
